Track One-JUKEBOX JUNKIE (DANCE MIX). This is a re-recording of his #1 hit. At first I didnt know what to think, but after about the 3rd time listening to it, I decided how much I DID like it because its captures his energy of his LIVE shows. I think he may have been jumping around the studio by the end of this recording session. Track Two-SHAME ON ME Here's a song that'll get ya shufflin' on the dance floor. Sounds like something Alan Jackson would record. Very radio friendly (but all Kens songs are), and very traditional. Track Three-HOME TEAM Ken hits a home run on this ballad. Some of the most clever lyrics that I have heard. Track Four-FARMERS DAUGHTER Here's an upbeat tune about still being in love with the Farmers Daughter. This IS NOT the Haggard version. Kens fans have been hearing this song for years at his shows. Track Five-LADIES NIGHT When this song came out in 1998, I received so many e-mails on where fans could get this on cd. Well, the wait is finally over. This is the original version from 1998, and the vocal performance is one of his finest and strongest. When playing this song, turn off all the lights, get out a couple of candles, and play this for your significant other. You want romance? This song is nothing less than that! But after the song ends, Dont blow the candles out yet....Stay Tuned!!! Track Six-CAN YOU FEEL IT This song I would love to hear live! When Ken does an upbeat song, he puts so much energy in it, YES, You Can Feel It!!! Track Seven-DOWN TO A CRAWL THE BEST KEN MELLONS SONG EVER!!! I could write a book about this song. I heard this song before Kens first cd ever came out. It has been my favorite song of his since, and I am so glad he FINALLY put it on cd. I also refer to this song as "I CAN BRING HER BACK-THE SEQUEL". At one time, I can remember Ken saying that this was his grandmothers favorite song that he ever wrote, and after you hear this ballad, you'll agree. I hear SO MUCH of KEITH WHITLEY and VERN GOSDIN in this song. I still get chills and teary eyed every time I hear it, and believe me, I play it everyday. I HOPE AND PRAY they release this song as a single and video. This song CAN NOT be overlooked!!! You want Hard Core Traditional Country Music, YOU WONT FIND ANYTHING BETTER than this song!!! I can go on and on, SOMEBODY STOP ME!!!!!!! Track Eight-BUNDLE OF NERVES Im telling you, you need to hear this song after listening to track seven. Its a real upbeat picker-upper. This was released as a single in 1999, but never got any air-play. Track Nine-WAS IT AS GOOD FOR YOU Remember I told ya to leave the candles burning? This is why. One of my favorite love songs he ever wrote, and the vocal performance is AWESOME! He hits the low notes like only he, and Keith Whitley can do. Would be a great single, but not if it was a choice between this one and DOWN TO A CRAWL. But very romantic!!! Can ya tell what song is my favorite? Track Ten-COOL AS YOU Crank this one all the way up!!! This one of my favorite upbeat songs by Ken. A perfect way to end this great cd. Just makes ya want more Ken Mellons music. .............And Thems True Words
